Thanks to Katherine Walker I am creating this blog spot so that I have a place to enter thoughts and stories from our great adventure on the island of Maui in Hawaii. We are excited about this great trip which begins with a send off from the great Virginia Luau on June 3rd at 6pm. We leave from this party and drive to RDU where we fly out at 6:10am (NWA) on Monday morning. We are flying from RDU to Detroit, change planes for a flight to Seattle, WA, and then change again for our flight to Maui. We are scheduled to arrive at 6pm Maui time which would be mid-night back here in Virginia. Rev Heather and her husband Rik will be in Radford during June. Enjoy their company. Give them a taste of that true Radford "Ohana" spirit. K+

Rev Heather and Rik arrived yesterday (Friday) afternoon (June 1st) to Radford and have now settled safely in their accommodations at the Crosswhites. We enjoyed a lovely meal at O'Charly's with Chloe and Kiah last night and I discovered a "Mango Mai Tai"....Can't wait to get to Maui and compare these drinks.
