Worship was wonderful today at St. Johns with a playground dedication as well as some enjoyable guitar music with Paul (my new prophet!) at teh end of both services. Today has been a day to think about faith and following as we engaged the scripture...."deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me". Where is God leading us. I know I ask that question each day as the day of our move to Northern Virginia grows closer and the clarity of that new life has yet to take shape. It is all in God's hands and God's good time. Today is a day to reimbrace the posture of trusting. And how wonderful it is to trust and sing all of those fun songs...with that amazing view. God is good. How blessed I have been to be in this place if only for a few short weeks. Evensong this evening followed by the best sunset in the world...shared this evening with St. Johns folks on the lawn with wine and cheese. Aloha. Kris+
