It is day two in our little break from upcountry life. We are enjoying an "employee discount" on our two night stay in teh wonderful Grand Wailea Resort here on the South side of Maui thanks to a member of St Johns who is director of finance here. Our room has a waterfall (really!) outside the door and our lanai or terrace walks straight out to the first of teh eight pools which are all connected with slides. The kids love the pools and we literally did not play at teh beach at all yesterday even thought we were 100 yards from the edge of teh ocean. This really feels like a mini vacation within a vacation. Thanks to those who made it possible for us.
