The Upcountry Swimming Pool

We have enjoyed the upcountry swimming pool several times in the town of Pukilani. It is a nice pool and a change from the salt water of the ocean. Today the water was particularly cold.
Kiah also got her fix of HULA DANCING. Pictured to the right is a show at the Wailea shops featuring music and lots of dancers. I think Kiah and Katherine were ready to jump right in.

We travelled this afternoon to see the needle or a 2500 foot tower of rock in the Iao valley on the other side of the island. It was beautiful with rushing water and waterfalls. I felt like we were on the set of Jurassic park. It is hard to really grasp the sheer beauty that exists here but I am trying to soak it all in. I find the warmth of God's love in each sunrise, sunset, and the beautiful rainbows that appear on the North side of the island as we drive back up to the upcountry.

I think tonight will be movie night here at home with an early bedtime. We have been going at a pretty good pace now for 10 days....but it has been great.

Making plans now for a trip with Chloe and Calum to visit pearl harbor and O'ahu. Glad we still have lots of time left to enjoy this place.

Mahalo for the time away and to Heather and Rik for this beautiful home.
