Maui Film Festival

With executives from most of Hollywood's motion picture studios, we sat out beneath the stars to enjoy the opening night festivities of teh Maui Film Festival. There were several thousands people on hand for the opening movie which was the animated film SURF'S UP. The kids loved it. We especially enjoyed the tremendous hula show on the hill side prior to the movie. I had a moment where I imagined how much my dad would have loved to be in this place with all of these movie people. This evening at the movies (on the Wailea Golf Course...actually on the course!) was a fun way to end a great day of fun. We enjoyed walking on a lava flow and watched some amazing big waves for almost an hour. It was hypnotic. We then played in the sands behind the Grand Wailea and enjoyed doing our boogie board. It was terrific. Having fun but feeling a little tired from all of the running. Caroline took the Eucharist today at St. Johns and I think was a hit. The cat Leo is sitting next to me wanting some love...better go. Peace to all of you. Kris+
